Swiss industrial laser technology leader Synova S.A. has partnered with WDM Botswana PTY LTD, a subsidiary of the Constell Group, to bring state-of-the-art diamond cutting technology to Botswana. The collaboration will see the introduction of Synova’s advanced “DaVinci” diamond cutting machine, designed to enhance precision and efficiency in diamond manufacturing.

The DaVinci Diamond system is capable of transforming rough stones into brilliant-cut diamonds with up to 57 facets in a single operation.

“This initiative is about more than just machines; it's about bringing technology and expertise to Botswana,” said Bernold Richerzhagen, President and CEO of Synova. Carlos Fernandes, CEO of the Constell Group, described the partnership as a major step in providing high-end services to the diamond industry.
