Taiwan Jewellery and Gem Fair 2015 to be held in November

The 3rd edition of Taiwan Jewellery & Gem Fair will be held from November 20-23, 2015 at the Taipei World Trade Center. Organised by UBM Asia Ltd., Taiwan Branch and the Taiwan Jewelry Industry Association, it will showcase exquisite crystal works from Japan, as well as dazzling collections from local jewellers in Taiwan.

Some of the highlights will be the participation of the Yamanashi Crystal Art Sculpture Cooperative, which will showcase a variety of sophisticated crystal and gemstone sculptures with intricate patterns carved by experienced lapidaries from Yamanashi in Japan, an area world-renowned for gemstone cutting and metalworking techniques; well-known Chinese designers Shih Chin Tiao, who was featured on the 2015 Chinese New Year show programme, “Treasure Hunt” broadcast on China National TV, and will exhibit his own jewellery brand “Atlen” and Tsai An Ho who has been concentrating on jewellery design using a mixture of different materials, mainly titanium and k-gold.

Besides, UBM Asia will co-organise the “2015 Goldsmith Contest” in association with the Department of Labour, Taipei City Government, the Taipei Jeweler’s Association with the top five goldsmiths’ works being displayed at the show.

The Taiwan Creative Jewellery Designer Association will also be hosting a jewellery design contest around the theme “BRIDGE”.
