VOD Exhibitors Rise To Meet The Middle Eastern Demand

Gold continued to gain favour on day two at the Vicenzaoro Dubai (VOD). Exhibitors have come prepared for the Middle Eastern market that prefers plain gold jewellery. Suvankar Sen of Senco Gold who has been catering to the Gulf for the last decade informed that the Arab world prefers 21-karat gold while countries such as India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh opt for 22-karat gold.

North Arrow Discovers “Rare, Natural Type Ib Diamonds” in Q1-4 Kimberlite

North Arrow Minerals Inc. announced that “yellow diamonds from the Q1-4 kimberlite contain un-aggregated nitrogen, a defining characteristic of rare, natural Type Ib diamonds with fancy ‘Canary Yellow’ colours.” The Q1-4 kimberlite, which falls within the Qilalugaq Diamond Project, lies nine kilometres from the Hamlet of Naujaat (Repulse Bay), Nunavut.
