50+ Participants Ready to Take E-commerce Export Leap at EDP Session

The fourth session of the two-month Exporters’ Development Program (EDP) was successfully conducted on 27th December, with a strong turnout of 90 participants. The session, led by Mr. Nitin Khandelwal, Regional Director – Jaipur, GJEPC, focused on key aspects of e-commerce exports, including the importance of time, significant dates, effective promotions, and the need for consistent efforts.

A key highlight of the session was the overwhelming response from participants regarding their interest in exploring e-commerce platforms for exports. Over 50 participants expressed their desire to embark on this journey. Recognising this enthusiasm, the organisers will be providing further guidance and support to these participants to help them successfully navigate the world of e-commerce exports.

The EDP session emphasised the critical role of timeliness and strategic planning in e-commerce success. Participants learned about the importance of identifying and capitalising on key dates and seasonal trends. The session also highlighted the need for win-win promotions that benefit both customers and sellers, recognising that repeat orders are the cornerstone of successful e-commerce businesses.

Participants were reminded that e-commerce operates as a distinct business vertical requiring a dedicated approach. The session stressed the mandatory requirement of an Import Export Code (IEC) for cross-border e-commerce ventures and emphasised the crucial role of consistent efforts in achieving long-term success in the e-commerce domain.

The 5th Session of the Exporters’ Development Program – Export Documentation has been scheduled for 2nd January 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
