Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Director – Head Membership, GJEPC, conducted a comprehensive training session on 29th August to familiarise newly appointed Customs Officers with the Kimberly Process Certification Scheme (KPCS). The training was conducted at the Precious Cargo Customs Clearance Centre (PCCCC) in Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) and included participation from 20 Customs officers and one Joint Commissioner of Customs. The objective of the training was to equip the Customs officers with a thorough understanding of the KPCS and its significance in ensuring the ethical sourcing of diamonds.
