This wedding season, Irasva presents Rüh, a hand-painted bridal capsule collection inspired by lotus blooms. The line incorporates the sacred 400-year-old art form of Pichwai originating from the temples of Nathdwara, Rajasthan.

Reinterpreting the art into modern heirlooms,  these jewels are not merely adornments — they are painted prayers, wearable expressions of emotion, history, and artistic reverence. Pichwai paintings, evoking spiritual significance, symmetry, and storytelling, are part of the captivating chandbalis, statement rings and necklaces.

This collection weaves together symbolic motifs such as the lotus, representing purity and awakening, the Kadamba tree branches implying growth and rootedness, and the sacred blue backdrop is a nod to Krishna and the cosmic ether. Coloured enamel serves as the canvas for these miniature artworks, creating a modern contrast that pairs effortlessly with both traditional and western wardrobes.

“The Rüh Collection is a tribute to the soul of Indian heritage — delicate yet powerful, intricate yet intentional. Inspired by the Pichwai art technique, each piece draws from sacred motifs like the lotus and the kadamba tree. In Pichwai, these elements are not merely decorative, they are spiritual storytellers. I wanted our jewels to echo that same devotion — where every design feels like a quiet prayer, every detail a reflection of something deeper. Rüh is not just adornment, it is the soul made visible,” explained Leshna Shah, Founder & Creative Director.
