Italian Technology Leaders Reinforce Commitment to Indian Jewellers at IIJS Premiere

Italian machinery specialists participating in IIJS Premiere 2025 highlight their technical prowess and share the reasons for taking part in IIJS.

Auto Studio Italy SRL

For over three decades, Italian manufacturer Auto Studio Italy SRL has been a trusted name in the Indian jewellery sector, supplying refining and production equipment to some of the country’s most prestigious brands. Pietro Fantinato, the company’s Area Sales Manager, stated, “The potential of the Indian market is enormous. India has a long tradition in jewellery-making and a vast client base that aligns perfectly with the machines we produce. Put those two together, and it’s a location we simply cannot pass up. It’s a market we cannot ignore—in fact, we feel obliged to be here.”

As for showcasing their machines at the show, he said, “Clients know us through word-of-mouth because our machines are installed in prestigious facilities like DRD and Emerald. People come here specifically looking for us.”

The company displayed  a completely automatic refining system for gold alloys—something very few competitors can match on a global scale.

Was this year’s participation fruitful? Fantinato replied, “The Indian market is so vast that even when conditions are a bit difficult, the potential is still significant. The good times will return, and we want to maintain our presence and relationships.

Roberto Giandesign SRL

Making its first appearance at IIJS Premiere, Italian firm Roberto Giandesign SRL brought its specialised chain-hammering equipment, catering to the growing demand for lightweight, intricately designed chains. Known for combining Italian craftsmanship with a strong focus on after-sales service, the company aimed to offer not only machinery but also continuous technical support to its clients worldwide. Production and Sales Head, Roberto Giacomo, shared that the company has been producing equipment for hammering shapes and creating decorative impressions on chains for almost four years. “Our focus is on reinforcing service and giving customers the assistance they need to get the most from their stamping machines. We produce machinery designed to give shape and decorative texture to chains — what we call “impressive design. Our tools and equipment help jewellery manufacturers create intricate, high-quality finishes that enhance the value of their products, and I am happy to find that there’s strong demand for our machinery here.”

He added that with gold prices being so high, there’s a big shift towards lighter chains rather than heavy or hollow designs, and their solutions are tailored for this trend.

He also mentioned that their strong point is after-sales service. “If customers have a problem, they can contact us on WhatsApp, and we respond quickly with technical solutions. That level of support builds trust and keeps clients coming back.”

Masterix SRL

Italy’s Masterix S.R.L. reaffirmed its position as a pioneer in high-end casting and wax injection machinery. Known for delivering precision, consistency, and complete process solutions to some of the world’s most prestigious jewellery houses, the brand’s latest showcase at IIJS Premiere emphasised its fully automatic vacuum systems and 100% Italy-made production lines.

Sales Executive Amer Eriqat shared that their company supplies some of the most advanced machines available in the market today, with some of the biggest jewellery brands in the world as their customers.

Eriqat said, “Unlike basic machines you can buy off-the-shelf, we offer complete, customised process solutions—from wax injectors to full frame wax systems and all the necessary tools for the production process. This ensures that our clients get the best quality and consistency, every single time. Our equipment delivers identical results in terms of weight and quality, with zero rejection rates. There’s no need for additional powdering or extra steps before injection, which is common with competitor machines. We are also the only manufacturer in the market offering a fully automatic vacuum system, which guarantees the highest production standards.

“In terms of quality, consistency, and reliability—our machines already perform at the highest level, so we’ve maintained those standards. The focus has been on continuing to deliver that excellence without compromise.”

Did the company achieve its targets for this edition of IIJS? “Yes, we received many enquiries and strong interest. If everything proceeds to confirmation, we will achieve—and possibly exceed—our targets.”
