Natural Diamond Council presents Jewelry Trend Report Fall 2020, created by Style Collective, a team of seven industry experts in retail, fashion, and media, who closely follow trends and consumer behaviour.
The collections, revolving around 5 major directions, are garnished with diamonds and accented with lustrous coloured gemstones.
SYMBOLIC & SENTIMENTAL
Design inspiration: The evil eye, hamsa, religious symbols, hearts, zodiac signs, lockets engraved with words of love or inspiration, and signet rings with a loved one’s initials or name.
Connections: Symbolic amulets, good luck charms, and diamond-studded
words of love connect people and underscore the powerful meaning of natural diamond jewellery as a talisman and heirloom.
Trend appeal: Women of all ages, from teens to sophisticated adults, and men.
LAYERED NECKLACES
Design trend: Layer it on, express your individuality and mix and match. Layered diamond necklaces, also called the “neck mess”, are stylish and reflect a casual elegance.
