GJEPC’s Eastern Region Office organised an awareness programme on retail export through e-commerce in Raipur, Chattisgarh, on 8th February. The initiative aimed to educate industry stakeholders on the expanding opportunities in e-commerce exports for the gem and jewellery sector.
Mr. Nitin Khandewal, Deputy Director – Jaipur RO, GJEPC, explained the advantages of leveraging e-commerce platforms to access global markets.
Mr. Kaushik Ghosh, Assistant Director – Eastern RO, GJEPC, informed about the benefits of GJEPC membership, explaining how it supports businesses in navigating the evolving export landscape. Additionally, Mr. Patha Kajli, Senior Executive, Exhibitions, GJEPC underscored the significance of attending the IIJS Tritiya 2025 trade show in Bengaluru in mid-March.
The event saw active participation from members of the Raipur Sarafa Association, who engaged in discussions on how to integrate e-commerce strategies into their businesses.
