GJEPC’s Surat Regional Office organised informative seminars in Junagadh and Rajkot, focusing on key topics such as Export Awareness, Common Facilities Centres (CFCs), Membership Awareness, Small Parcel Exports, and IIJS Visitor Registration. These events garnered substantial participation, with over 300 attendees in Junagadh and 250 participants in Rajkot representing the local gem and jewellery industry.
Mr. Vijay Mangukiya, Regional Chairman – Surat, GJEPC, addressed the seminars’ objectives and shed light on the diverse activities undertaken by the GJEPC. Emphasising the significance of GJEPC membership, he elucidated the associated benefits and encouraged all members to take their first step towards venturing into exports by becoming GJEPC members.
The seminars also featured informative presentations on the upcoming IIJS Premiere, stressing the urgency of timely registration before the first phase concludes on 30th June, 2023. Attendees were strongly urged to complete their registrations promptly to maximise their participation in this prominent jewellery exhibition.
Mr. Vijay Ranpara, President of the local association, provided insights into the services available at the Junagadh CFC, offering attendees a comprehensive understanding of the facilities at their disposal. Additionally, Mr. Amit Mulani from Bharat Uday Mission delivered detailed presentations in both cities, enlightening participants about the export scope and process specific to the gems and jewellery industry.
Mr. Jagdish Soni, President of the Rajkot Gem & Jewellery Association, encouraged all trade members to fully leverage the services provided by the GJEPC. He commended the dedicated efforts of the entire GJEPC team in working towards the improvement and success of trade members.
Mr. Chandresh Patadiya, President of the Jewellery Federation Cluster of Rajkot, shared valuable information regarding the Common Facilities Centre in Rajkot. Members were briefed on the various services offered and their corresponding rates, providing them with essential knowledge to make informed decisions.
A representative from Shypmax, a prominent player in the industry, delivered an insightful presentation on the export process for small parcels. The attendees gained practical guidance and valuable insights into effectively navigating this aspect of the gem and jewellery export business.
