Ms. Sandrine Conseiller, CEO, De Beers Brands visited the GJEPC head office in Mumbai on 30th August for a general discussion that ranged across a number of topics, including the promotion of natural diamonds. Ms. Conseiller was joined by Ms. Shweta Harit, Global Senior VP, De Beers and Mr. Amit Pratihari, Vice President of De Beers Forevermark India.
GJEPC was represented by Mr. Vipul Shah, Chairman, GJEPC; Mr. Ajesh Mehta, Convener – Diamond Panel, GJEPC; Mr. Milan Chokshi, Member – Diamond Panel; and Mr. Sabyasachi Ray, Executive Director, GJEPC.
Representatives from both organisations agreed on the need for a more unified approach to build consumer trust and awareness of the unique qualities of natural diamonds.
