The Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ) Mumbai recently held a glittering awards ceremony to honour the outstanding achievements of its graduating designers. Glimpz, the highly acclaimed annual showcase of emerging jewellery designers, has been a hallmark of IIGJ Mumbai’s commitment to fostering talent and innovation within the jewellery industry.
The ceremony witnessed an impressive gathering of industry leaders, design experts and dignitaries who were present to recognise the remarkable contributions of the graduating designers.
The event was the grand finale of Glimpz 23 in which winners of various categories were announced and trophies awarded, based on the selection made earlier by the esteemed jury panel. The jury panel comprised eminent dignitaries of the jewellery and fashion world, namely, Jewellery Virtuoso Laksh Pahuja, Fashion Icon and Writer Meher Castelino, Goldstar Jewellery Pvt. Ltd. VP-Product Development Yogendra Tripathi, and Jewellery Designer and Consultant Indra Jadwani.
Several dignitaries from the world of gems and jewellery graced the occasion, among whom were: Tanvirkumar & Co. Partner and IIGJ Mumbai Chairman Milan Chokshi, D. Navinchandra Jewels CEO and IIGJ Mumbai Director Punit Mehta, De Beers Forevermark (India) VP Amit Pratihari, De Beers Forevermark National Training Manager Leena Amin, Jewellery Industry Expert/Consultant Nirupa Bhatt, and IIGJ CEO Debasish Biswas, among others.
Bharat Vaswani, Head of the Institute, said, “Glimpz is a platform that celebrates creativity, ingenuity, and craftsmanship. The remarkable designs presented by our graduating designers are a testament to their dedication and hard work. We are confident that they will contribute significantly to the evolution of the jewellery industry.”

- Best Craftsmanship, Handmade Category: Arjun Sharma – Theme: Neo-Futurism Architecture
- Best Craftsmanship, Casted Category: Tuhin Ghosh – Theme: Gothic Architecture
- Best Innovative Product Collection: Hasti Dagha – Theme: Gothic Architecture
- Best Commercially Viable Collection: Devendra Beloshe – Theme: Islamic Architecture
- Best Visual Merchandising: European Architecture Group (Members: Hasti Dagha, Tuhin Ghosh, Dev Soni, Neelam Kerbelker, Malvika Vadsak & Jainam Shah)
