Diamonds Do Good Names Marcus ter Haar as President-Elect

Diamonds Do Good (DDG), the global nonprofit highlighting the positive impact of natural diamonds, has announced Marcus ter Haar as its incoming President-Elect, effective 1 January 2026.

On the same date, Pete Engel will assume the presidency as Kathy Corey concludes her term. Ter Haar, a respected diamond industry leader with strong ties to Botswana, has been instrumental in advancing sustainability, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment initiatives.

Currently Co-Chair of DDG’s Beneficiary Committee, he will work alongside Engel and the Board to expand DDG’s grantmaking, storytelling, and partnerships worldwide.
