Exceptional Diamonds & Gems to Highlight Bonhams Hong Kong Jewels & Jadeite Sale

Exceptional large gemstones including exquisite emeralds and Paraíba-type tourmaline are highlights of the upcoming Bonhams Hong Kong Jewels & Jadeite Sale on 23rd November 2025.  

The curated live sale is featuring a superb selection of signed jewels, large gemstones, and period treasures with creations by Bulgari, Cartier, Cerrone, Chaumet Paris, Dorera, Fred Paris, GF & F The Haute Joaillerie, JAR, M. Gérard, Marcus & Co., Meister, Ronald Abram and Van Cleef & Arpels.  

The sale includes numerous impressive private collections, each featuring rare and highly collectable jewels, offering collectors an opportunity to acquire coloured diamonds, diamonds, emeralds, sapphires and rubies of exceptional quality and craftsmanship.  

Leading the sale is a pair of pear-shaped Colombian emerald pendants (above), weighing 64.37 and 63.19 carats respectively, offered with an estimate of HK$1,800,000-3,500,000 (US$231,300–450,000).
Another notable lot is a rare, unmounted oval Paraíba-type Tourmaline (above) weighing 160.75 carats. Of natural crystal-clear clarity, blue-green colour of African origin, the gem is offered with an estimate of HK$2,800,000-5,000,000 (US$360,000–643,000).

A Bulgari diamond necklace and ear clip set (above), of scalloped design, featuring 18 principle oval diamonds and accented by fancy-cut and round brilliant-cut diamonds. Estimate: HK$3,000,000-4,000,000 (US$386,000-$515,000).
A GF & F The Haute Joaillerie sapphire, rock crystal and diamond ring (above) is highlighted with an octagonal, step-cut unheated sapphire of Burmese origin of Royal Blue colour, weighing 17.10 carats. Estimate: HK$2,600,000-3,500,000 (US$334,500–451,000).
A pair of ruby and diamond pendent earrings (above), each set with an unheated oval ruby of Burmese origin, weighing 3.96 and 3.84 carats, with a surround and surmount set with round brilliant-cut diamonds. Estimate: HK$1,000,000-1,500,000 (US$128,600–193,000).
A Marcus & Co. emerald and diamond pendant necklace (above), circa 1920, set with an untreated ~10-carat Colombian emerald. Estimate: HK$1,300,000-1,800,000 (US$167,300–231,6000).
An unmounted 26.50-carat old European-cut diamond of Light Yellow colour (above). Estimate: HK$850,000-1,300,000 (US$109,300–167,200).
Retailed by Cartier is the above Art Deco necklace designed with a carved Jadeite, enamel, onyx and diamonds, circa 1925. Estimate: HK$360,000-600,000 (US$46,300–77,200).
