GJEPC and the Mumbai Diamond Merchants Association (MDMA) held a seminar at the MDMA Trading Hall in Bharat Diamond Bourse on 22nd July 2024. The event, attended by over 750 people, focused on the benefits of the GJEPC Parichay Card and the PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
Key benefits discussed included two-way SMS communication, health insurance coverage of Rs. 35,000, official recognition of artisans, and various support measures under the Vishwakarma Yojana such as tool kits, concessional financing, and six days of free training with a stipend provided by the GJEPC’s Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ). The seminar addressed numerous questions from attendees and concluded with a vote of thanks to the MDMA committee.
