GJEPC Highlights IIJS Bharat Opportunities, Export Pathways & MSME Schemes in Ichalkaranji

GJEPC, in association with the Ichalkaranji Parisar Sarafa and Swarnakar Association, organised a seminar focusing on opportunities in the gems and jewellery trade, MSME schemes and GJEPC membership benefits on 19 December. The programme drew active participation from over 200 jewellery retailers from Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur District, Maharashtra, and surrounding regions.

Mithilesh Pandey, Senior Director, GJEPC, briefed participants on the advantages of Council membership and a wide range of government and GJEPC-led initiatives. These included the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Identity Card benefits, IC Scheme, Capacity Building Scheme, collateral-free loan facilities, stamp duty exemption and special facilities for MSME manufacturers at IJPM. He also highlighted export-enabling platforms such as IJEX, buyer-seller meets organised by GJEPC, and the relevance of trade agreements like CEPA and ECTA.

Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director, GJEPC, presented an overview of global export trends and highlighted emerging opportunities through e-commerce platforms such as India Post, eBay and other digital channels. She also covered details of IIJS Bharat Signature, Premiere, and Tritiya, including visitor registration and participation benefits.
