GJEPC successfully conducted the Second Familiarisation Programme at the India Jewellery Exposition (IJEX) Centre in Dubai, welcoming 10 ambitious exporters from across India, as part of its ongoing Exporter Mentorship Program.
The programme offered participants a first-hand experience of jewellery retail and wholesale landscapes across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. Through store visits and market interactions, the group gained valuable insights into consumer preferences, regional trends, and business practices unique to the UAE.
A key highlight was the group’s exclusive visit to Van Cleef & Arpels’ L’École School of Jewelry Arts. The session provided creative and technical inspiration, allowing participants to appreciate the finer nuances of jewellery craftsmanship and design excellence.
Further enriching the experience was an engaging interaction with Mr. Nirav Bhansali, Convener – National Exhibitions, GJEPC. He urged the exporters to embrace innovation, seek out new global avenues, and actively leverage platforms like IJEX and SAJEX to accelerate their international business journey.
