In a collaborative effort aimed at empowering local goldsmiths and jewellery traders, GJEPC partnered with the Jalgaon City Goldsmiths Association to organise a seminar on 17 March, 2024, in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The event shed light on the advantages of GJEPC membership and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) scheme.
Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, representing GJEPC, delivered a detailed presentation elucidating the perks of council membership and various governmental policies and schemes. Key highlights encompassed the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, Parichay card facilitation, export through courier mode under the IIJS, visitor registration protocols, and initiatives such as IJEX, CEPA, ECTA, Buyer-Seller Meet, Jaipur Show, International Cooperation Scheme, and Capacity Building Scheme.
Mr. Pandey delved into the enhanced limits of collateral-free loans, as well as initiatives like IJPM, while also providing insights into foreign market opportunities and e-commerce strategies. Noteworthy topics covered during the seminar included hand carriage, e-commerce dynamics, export through postal channels, and leveraging resources available through platforms such as eBay and similar avenues.
