GJEPC Hosts Webinar on Online Application Process for Appendix 4 ‘O’ Certificate

GJEPC conducted a focused webinar on “Training for Online Application of Appendix 4 ‘O’”, aimed at educating members on the digital procedure to obtain the Appendix 4 ‘O’ Certificate — a key document that enables exporters to claim replenishment of gold and silver used in jewellery sold during international exhibitions, export promotion tours, and branded exports.

The session drew active participation from 32 attendees. Mr. Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Regional Chairman – North, GJEPC, encouraged members to take full advantage of the scheme to strengthen their global presence. Mr. K.K. Duggal, Director – Policy, offered a comprehensive explanation of the relevant provisions under the Foreign Trade Policy and Handbook of Procedures, shedding light on the specific clauses applicable to Appendix 4 ‘O’.

Mr. Duggal noted GJEPC’s proactive move to make smaller gold denominations (below 1 kg) accessible—an enhancement that benefitted 20 exporters in the past financial year.

Mr. Sanjay Madaan, Chief Manager (M&R), demonstrated the step-by-step process for filing applications through GJEPC’s digital portal. Mr. Ali Bharmal, Manager (International Events), moderated the Q&A session, where Mr. Duggal and Mr. Madaan addressed participants’ queries.
