GJEPC Retailers’ Connect Drives Export Push for Cuttack’s Silver Filigree Trade

GJEPC organised the IIJS Bharat Tritiya 2026 Retailers’ Connect in Cuttack, Odisha, on 7 February, in association with the Odisha Jewellers Association, drawing over 60 retailers from the city’s key jewellery clusters.

Kaushik Ghosh, Assistant Director – Kolkata, GJEPC, outlined the Council’s initiatives along with export opportunities, focusing on GI-tagged Cuttack silver filigree (tarkashi) and e-commerce as a practical route to market. MSME schemes were explained by T. Mohanty, GM, DIC Cuttack, to strengthen local enterprises.
