GJEPC, supported by the Shroff Varthakara Sangha, organised an IIJS Bharat Retailers’ Connect in Mysuru on 24 February 2026, attended by 80 local jewellery retailers.
Mithlesh Pandey, Senior Director, GJEPC, outlined export pathways for small businesses, including IJEX Dubai opportunities and simplified customs and hand-carry procedures.
Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director, GJEPC, highlighted the advantages of visiting IIJS Bharat Tritiya, prompting multiple on-the-spot registrations. A live jewellery showcase by Murali Ayyar from the De Beers INDRA team added practical insights. The session generated strong interest in GJEPC membership, export programmes, and enquiries on the INDRA project, with more than 40 on-site registrations recorded for Tritiya.
