GJSCI Conducts Intensive Training of Trainers Workshop in Mumbai

The Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India (GJSCI) successfully organised a three-day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop from 31st July to 2nd August 2025 in Mumbai, reaffirming its commitment to skill development in the jewellery sector.

Focused on the job roles of Imitation Jewellery Maker and Artificial Jewellery Maker, the exclusive training program brought together 12 selected trainers from Odisha, and the Thane and Kolhapur districts of Maharashtra. The workshop aimed at equipping participants with practical skills and techniques, preparing them to train future artisans under various GJSCI-led skilling initiatives.

A key highlight of the program was the live demonstration session, where trainers crafted traditional jewellery pieces as part of their hands-on learning experience.

GJSCI extended its appreciation to Master Trainer, Sangeeta Arun Patil, for her impactful and engaging delivery, which played a crucial role in the workshop’s success.
