Mr. Yoshinori Yamaguchi, Governor of Saga Prefecture in the Kyushu Region, Japan visited the GJEPC Head Office on 7th February. During the visit, Governor Yamaguchi interacted with Mr. Ashish Borda, Convener – PMBD sub-committee; Mr. Bharat Ghori, Member – Diamond Panel, and GJEPC officials, gaining insights into India’s gem and jewellery industry, its export strengths, and areas of potential collaboration with Japan. The Governor also undertook a walkthrough of the Bharat Diamond Bourse, witnessing first-hand the scale, efficiency, and global significance of India’s diamond trading ecosystem.
