As part of a focused effort to support non-exporters participating at IIJS Bharat shows, the IIJS Bharat Team held a structured Export Awareness Programme on 18th November 2025, with the aim to guide companies to become export ready.
This first-level session assisted participants in understanding ‘HOW and WHY to do Exports,’ forming a strong foundation before progressing to more advanced topics. The session familiarised participants with processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements involved in starting exports.
In the introductory session, Mr. Mithlesh Pandey, Director, Membership, GJEPC, gave a comprehensive overview of export fundamentals, compliance requirements, and the practical steps for initiating exports. Queries from members were addressed by the Trade Policy team.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Shamal Pote, Director, National Events, GJEPC, encouraged participants to urge their fraternity to attend future knowledge-driven programmes.
The session ended on a positive note, and attendees appreciated the initiative, acknowledging its relevance and value in helping new entrants understand the export potential they can explore.
The subsequent sessions under this initiative will cover topics such as ‘Challenges in Exports & Opportunities in Exports.’
