Kisna Marathon Targets Guinness Record With Simultaneous Run in 57 Indian Cities

Kisna Diamond & Gold Jewellery, a leading brand of the Hari Krishna Group, concluded the 10th edition of the Kisna Diamond Marathon with a landmark nationwide initiative, organising a synchronised race across 57 cities in India.

The event has been officially registered as a Guinness World Record attempt under the category “Most cities to coordinate the same 5 km race simultaneously”, making Kisna the first jewellery brand in the country to undertake a sporting event of this scale. The simultaneous starts across cities turned the marathon into a single, unified national movement.

Held under the theme ‘Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat’, the marathon recorded over 20,000 registrations nationwide. Participants competed in 5 km, 10 km and 21 km categories, reflecting strong public engagement around fitness, cleanliness and civic responsibility.

The marathon was attended by Padma Shri Ujjwal Nikam, Member of Parliament, along with Kirit Bhansali, Chairman, GJEPC; Motilal Oswal, Chairman, Motilal Oswal Group; Rajeev Jalota, Advisor to the Port Authority; actor Manoj Joshi and other industry leaders, lending prominence to the occasion.

Proceeds from the event were dedicated to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, reinforcing the brand’s focus on social responsibility.
