AstaGuru successfully concluded its ‘Legacy Jewellery, Silver & Timepieces’ auction, presenting a curated selection of timeless jewellery, heritage silver, and design-led timepieces. Held online on 15–16 January 2026, the auction brought together collectors and connoisseurs for a thoughtfully assembled offering that spanned royal provenance, vintage elegance, and modern craftsmanship.
Among the highlights of the auction were the following standout lots:

A spectacular Colombian Emerald & Diamond Choker emerged as one of the standout lots! Centered around a vivid cushion-cut 32.06-carat Colombian emerald and framed by an elaborate arrangement of diamonds, the choker exemplified the enduring appeal of heirloom-quality gemstones paired with contemporary design, reinforcing strong collector interest in rare emerald statement jewels. Estimated between ₹ 1,43,71,000 – ₹ 1,75,00,000, the choker was sold for ₹ 1,73,88,910.

An important Art Deco Diamond & Colombian Emerald Brooch Circa: 1930, platinum brooch is centered with five richly hued collet-set Colombian emerald cabochons totalling approximately 32 carats, framed by an intricate arrangement of old cut, round brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds amounting to nearly 11.50 carats. Estimated between ₹ 97,00,000 – ₹ 1,20,00,000, the vintage piece fetched ₹ 1,17,37,000.

A stunning Emerald, Spinel & Basra Pearl Necklace & Ear Pendants, circa: early 20th century, stood out for its regal composition and traditional craftsmanship. The necklace reflects the grandeur of jewellery tradition in early 20th-century Rajasthan. Crafted in gold using the kundan technique, the set features richly coloured emeralds and spinels, complemented by natural Basra pearls that lend softness and movement to the design. The period piece estimated between ₹ 38,69,500 – ₹ 44,00,000 went under the hammer for ₹ 46,82,095.

A rare Emerald, Spinel & Basra Pearl Necklace, circa: early 1900, distinguished itself with a compelling interplay of colour, texture and traditional craftsmanship. Composed of richly saturated emeralds and deep-toned spinels set in a refined framework and accented with lustrous natural Basra pearls, the necklace exemplified heirloom-calibre quality and period character. Incidentally, this piece is over one hundred years old (or National Art Treasure) and cannot be exported out of India as per the Antiques and Art Treasures Act, 1972. Estimated between ₹ 31,68,500 – ₹ 37,00,000, it sold for ₹ 38,33,885.

A classic Three-Strand Diamond Bracelet drew significant collector interest for its elegance and refined proportion. Composed of three strands of well-matched old-cut and round brilliant-cut diamonds, the bracelet is executed in 18-karat white gold highlighting balanced symmetry. The versatile diamond bracelet was estimated between ₹ 28,37,000, realised above the upper estimate at ₹ 34,32,770.

An exquisite Cocktail Ring captured attention with its bold presence and refined gemstone artistry. Set with a central 3.18-carat fancy colour brown diamond framed by meticulously round-brilliant and rose-cut diamonds, the design-forward ring was estimated to be sold between ₹ 14,36,000 – ₹ 16,36,000, realised ₹ 17,37,560.

A Colombian Emerald & Diamond Ring featuring a richly hued 13.70-carat Colombian emerald at its centre, is flanked by rose-cut and round brilliant-cut diamonds in a classic yet impactful setting. Estimated between ₹ 16,82,500 – ₹ 19,00,000, it sold for ₹ 22,39,408.

An Opulent Burmese Ruby & Diamond Suite commanded attention with its rich colour narrative and harmonious design. Anchored by 50 carats of intensely saturated Burmese rubies of exceptional hue and clarity, the suite was elevated by finely matched diamonds set in a sophisticated composition in silver. Estimated to sell between ₹ 20,00,000 – ₹ 25,00,000, the suite sold for ₹ 24,20,000.

A pair of Colombian Emerald & Diamond Ear Pendants drew notable interest with their vivid colour and refined execution. The linear, drop earrings featured 11.45 carats of verdant Colombian emeralds accented by well-matched diamonds in a balanced, elegant design. Estimated between ₹ 9,02,000 – ₹ 14,00,000, the earrings fetched ₹ 10,91,420.

The inclusion of geometric Art Deco jewels, classic Art Nouveau designs and select modern pieces further ensured broad appeal across collecting sensibilities.”
