The Jewelry Symposium (TJS), formerly known as the Santa Fe Symposium, the annual international event dedicated to advancing jewellery manufacturing technology, is expanding in 2025. Building on the success of the 2024 event and increased interest from industry experts, TJS will now span three full days from 17 to 20 May at the Detroit Marriott Troy, Michigan.

“Now heading into our third year, we were delighted to receive an unprecedented number of abstracts from speakers who want to share their knowledge and expertise, across a wide range of topics related to the art of making jewellery,” said Linus Drogs, Chairman of Board, TJS. “The board and regular attendees all agreed to extend the schedule to allow for more presentations. There is truly something for everyone in the jewellery manufacturing business — students, veteran designers, manufacturers, and retailer bench jewellers. TJS 2025 will be our most comprehensive event yet, not to be missed!”

TJS will feature presentations from renowned experts on topics such as metallurgy, manufacturing processes, additive manufacturing, gemstones, education and business, health and safety, AI, and design/CAD. The event will provide valuable insights for bench jewellers, designers, manufacturers, students, retailers, and the press.

The symposium will kick off with a networking dinner on 17 May 2025, followed by three days of informative presentations. Attendees can expect a comprehensive and engaging experience that reflects the diverse interests of the jewellery industry.
