TJS Opens Scholarship Applications & Registration For 2026 Symposium

The Jewelry Symposium (TJS), formerly known as the Santa Fe Symposium, has opened scholarship applications for its 2026 edition, scheduled at the Detroit Marriott Troy from 16 to 19 May. The annual event is dedicated to advancing jewellery manufacturing technology and continues to attract both seasoned experts and emerging talent.

Linus Drogs, Chairman, TJS, “The attrition of skilled labour in the fine jewellery industry makes an event like TJS more relevant and more necessary than ever. We welcome new and returning participants for 2026 and move their careers to the next level.”

Scholarships are open to students, interns, apprentices, and early career professionals across the jewellery field. Awardees receive full event registration and three hotel nights, with travel at their own expense. Applications close on 5 January 2026, and recipients will be announced in February.

Now in its fourth year, TJS, a non-profit for the advancement of jewellery manufacturing technology, continues to grow. The 2026 agenda features global specialists speaking on design software, additive manufacturing, generative AI, metallurgy, casting, mold making, gemstones, sustainability, safety, and talent development.
