Gembridge Claims 1,250 Gemstones Sold With No Returns

Gembridge, an online marketplace connecting customers with over 1,000 global suppliers of gemstones and jewellery, announced the sale of 1,250 gemstones with no returns.

The digital platform has a global returns policy, ensuring that its 100% successful transaction rate since its launch ended with a satisfied buyer and a paid seller. The biggest transaction on the platform was for a $220,000 purchase by a retail customer using a credit card.

“A 100% successful transaction rate means that every sale on Gembridge since launch has ended with a delighted buyer and a paid seller, with zero returns made via our global returns policy,” said Gembridge CEO Nick Marrett.

“Our sales process makes sure customers take delivery of exactly what they have purchased before payment is released to sellers,” added Gembridge Commercial Director Jean Jureidini.

The management team interviews and vets each new seller before listing inventory on the platform. The platform is regulated for anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, making the sales payment process more efficient through international banks and credit card companies.

“Sales payments made between Gembridge, our customers and sellers move efficiently through the international banks and credit card companies because Gembridge is the only online marketplace in the world regulated for anti-money laundering and the countering of terrorism financing,” Marrett noted.
