Swiss luxury conglomerate Richemont has announced significant leadership changes within its luxury brand portfolio. Effective 1st September 2024, Catherine Rénier will become the new CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, succeeding Nicolas Bos, who has recently been appointed CEO of Richemont. Rénier, who has over 20 years of experience in jewellery and luxury watchmaking within Richemont, will report directly to Bos. Philippe Hermann, CFO, will serve as interim CEO for Jaeger-LeCoultre until a permanent successor is named.

Simultaneously, Louis Ferla will take over as CEO of Cartier, following Cyrille Vigneron’s decision to retire after eight successful years. Vigneron will transition to Chairman of Cartier Culture & Philanthropy and work closely with Ferla to ensure a smooth handover. Ferla, who joined Richemont in 2001, brings extensive experience from his tenure at Alfred Dunhill and Cartier, and most recently as CEO of Vacheron Constantin since 2017.
