Parishri’s Covetable & Contemporary Lines

Parishri, a new designer brand based out of Jaipur, is already creating waves with its leading-edge vermeil jewellery lines.

Parishri is derived from the name blending of two founders of the brand — Paridhi (Pari) Patodia and Shrishti (Shri) Agarwal.

The designer duo graduated in Jewellery Design from Pearl Academy, Jaipur. After getting the relevant industry experience, they realised they wanted to enter the jewellery industry in two different segments. While Paridhi was keen about marketing strategies, Shrishti opted for designing jewellery. They further decided on coming together as a brand with their respective interests and skills.

Paridhi reveals, “We are a homegrown Indian brand based in Jaipur that started in September 2020. We lost our jobs at the start of the pandemic in March 2020, but we finally decided to work on our brand, and started taking custom orders from friends and relatives.

“We create gold-plated statement pieces, as well as contemporary daily wear lines. Our designs are delicate yet bold and are a unique take on the traditional aesthetics with fashionable forms.”

Guided by a sophisticated yet dramatic sensibility, the brand combines unique elements with inventive designs. A play of floral and fluid metallic forms with exotic crystals and semi-precious stones forms the basis of Parishri’s design aesthetic.

The making of each piece is done in-house with utmost care and precision. “We like to push narratives through our collections and every piece aims to be a piece of art, and a conversation starter, which embodies a bit of culture and heritage.”

Parishri makes collections in silver and brass with 18-karat gold plating; and customise jewellery in silver and gold to cater to commissions by clients.

Paridhi states, “Considering the availability of gemstones as a Jaipur-based brand, we love to showcase the heritage and culture of Rajasthan in our jewellery collections by integrating semi-precious and precious gemstones depending upon the client requisites.”

Parishri’s mission is to make the world a better place by bringing beauty and significance into people’s lives. Relationships, people, tradition, the rich crafts, and extraordinary stories, they feel, provide a purpose. Parishri believes that everyone has a story to tell and that sharing that story inspires people to work harder for the greater good. “We are proud supporters of Make In India!” exclaims Paridhi.

Their first collection titled Blush Petals featured a unique take on the traditional floral jewellery worn for Indian weddings and events.

The second collection was an ode to resilience – RAY (of hope). Conceptualised in the pandemic, the jewels have been engraved with ideas of hope, life and love, a reminder we all need. Messages are engraved into the jewels as a tattooed piece, which reveal, their significance at a closer look. The pieces are raw and uplifting.

Parishri’s core principle revolves around the balance of design and craftsmanship, where every creative expression honours age-old Indian artistry.

Handmade in their studio, the jewellery is a culmination of the finesse of the craftsman technical prowess and keen attention to detail. Skilfully cast and polished to perfection, the piece is then plated with 2 microns of 18-karat gold, followed by 2 microns of lacquer, which prevents tarnishing or corrosion. This special care is taken to ensure comfort and durability.

“Our brand Parishri strives to achieve mastery in every aspect of creation and provide women around the world with jewellery of the highest calibre, concludes Paridhi.
