GJEPC held an IIJS Visitor Meet in Rajkot on 8th June 2022 with the support of the Rajkot Gems and Jewellery Association (RGJA), Rajkot Gold Dealer Association (RGDA)and Jewellery Cluster Federation Rajkot (JCFR). More than 110 local retailers attended the session, making it a grand success.
Mansukh Kothari, Co-Convenor, National Exhibitions, GJEPC, gave an in-depth presentation on IIJS and its salient features and highlighted the various initiatives and activities of the Council. He provided details on the different product-based sections to help visitors navigate to their desired locations at the show.
Jagdish Soni, President, RGJA, said that “IIJS was, is and will remain India’s number one show forever. IIJS provides business of minimum 6 months to exhibitors and provides enough stock to retailers to cater to their retail consumers for the entire season.” He congratulated GJEPC for organising such a successful trade fair every year.
Divyesh Patadiya, President, JCFR, appreciated the initiatives of GJEPC and also expressed gratitude to the Council for providing the Common Facility Centre (CFC) which has given a boost to the Rajkot industry. He further elaborated on how IIJS is an integral part of the jewellery industry of Rajkot and appealed all the Rajkot-based retailers to visit show at least once.
