The GJEPC’s MSME Department held a focused Chaupal titled “GJEPC se Judein aur Export Karen (Join GJEPC and Start Exporting)” at Zaveri Bazaar on 27 November, aimed at building export readiness among first-time and aspiring exporters in the jewellery trade.
The session broke down the export journey into clear, workable steps. Participants explored how to identify market demand, choose the right products, understand Customs KYC, manage hand-carry shipments, follow export procedures, and navigate international customs norms. Discussions also touched on evolving global trends and opportunities available through IJEX and various export incentive schemes. The interactive format drew out real-life challenges from attendees seeking practical solutions.
Mr. Mihir Shah of Universal Connection offered industry insights and shared hands-on experiences that helped demystify global buyer expectations and operational requirements. Mr. Mithilesh Pandey, Senior Director, GJEPC, outlined compliance essentials, government support mechanisms, and routes to tap international markets.
With more than 25 participants, the Chaupal emerged as a useful knowledge-sharing platform that strengthened confidence and encouraged MSMEs to take their first steps into exports.
