GJEPC organised an IIJS Bharat Retailers’ Connect seminar on trade opportunities in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh on 31 May 2026, bringing together more than 80 jewellers, manufacturers, and trade members from across the region.
Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director, GJEPC, presented an overview of the upcoming IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026 exhibition, highlighting the business advantages for retail jewellers attending the show. Her presentation underscored the value of IIJS as a platform for gaining market intelligence, tracking emerging consumer trends, and connecting with a pan-India network of leading exhibitors and trade visitors.
Mithilesh Pandey, Senior Director, GJEPC, informed about the various MSME support schemes and initiatives aimed at strengthening the gem and jewellery export ecosystem. He outlined opportunities linked to international trade shows, e-commerce exports, and hand-carry export procedures from Mumbai, helping participants understand avenues for expanding their global business footprint.
The seminar received strong support from the Sarafa Association Freeganj Ujjain and the Praantiya Sarafa Association Madhya Pradesh, contributing to robust participation and constructive discussions around regional business growth.
