High-Voltage Jewels That Defined COUTURE 2026

COUTURE 2026 once again raised the bar for creativity, craftsmanship and design excellence. Vibrant colour took centre stage this year, infusing the show with optimism, while exceptional large diamonds in fresh cuts and various hues stole the spotlight. AUSTY LEE: ADRENALINE-FUELLED JEWELS 

Hong Kong-based designer Austy Lee presented his signature psychedelic aesthetic at COUTURE. Drawing inspiration from culture, spirituality and nature, Lee’s magnetic jewels channel a dreamlike zing, reminiscent of luminous nebulae and graphic art. The artist continues to push boundaries through bold, contemporary pieces that blur the lines between jewellery and wearable art. 

The Imperial Horse brooch from the Fūrinkazan collection is crafted in 18-karat yellow gold with Zambian emeralds, an Afghan emerald, a natural Keshi pearl, Mozambican rubies, abalone shell, mother-of-pearl, white, red and black enamel, fancy-colour diamonds and white diamonds. By Austy Lee

Inspired by the staple Central American dish of red beans and white rice, this delectable ring from the Iknor collection reimagines the meal in white gold. A vibrant rubellite takes centre stage, while splashes of red enamel contrast against a bed of white diamonds, artfully evoking the colours of rice and beans. By Austy Lee

OSCAR HEYMAN: STIMULATING COLOURS 

For over a century now, Oscar Heyman’s jewellery is outfitted with only the  highest quality of coloured gemstones. At the show this year, they unveiled a collection devoted to the ‘big three’ set in platinum or 18-karat gold. From the bridal series were engagement rings set with three-stone, single stone, halo, and toi et moi designs.

New York-based Lionheart, founded by Danish sisters Joy and Sarah Haugaard, is rooted in ethical and sustainable practices. Each piece is crafted using responsibly sourced diamonds and gemstones. Beyond aesthetics and ethics, the brand also champions inclusivity, individuality, and self-expression. At COUTURE, they showcased Desert Diamonds, a collection that reflects that beauty can be found in warmth, in variation, and something that does not need to compete for attention.

OROGAMI: MAGIC IN GOLD 
Every Orogami jewel begins with an idea — an emotion, philosophy, or question shaped into gold. Crafted entirely by hand in the Orvieto atelier, each piece is unique or created in extremely limited editions. Rooted in ancient Roman goldsmithing traditions, Orogami jewels are symbolic, especially the circle, representing life and continuity. They debuted at the show with one-off creations.
