France — and Place Vendôme in particular — is where jewellery’s most illustrious names have long defined the language of luxury. This October, GJEPC’s India-France Jewellery Summit taking place from 13–15 October, brings together a handpicked coterie of 17 Indian jewellery brands, each presenting specially created collections for France’s discerning connoisseurs.

Expect a sophisticated edit of lightweight, design-led jewellery where traditional craftsmanship meets advanced technology. The collections explore fluid, flexible and transformable forms, alongside pieces designed for  everyday wear. Intricate micro-pavé, invisible and baguette settings, illusion techniques and high-precision gemstone cuts bring a sense of technical finesse. Some jewels feature distinctive textures, while others explore sculptural openwork. Experimental materials such as titanium, ceramic, carbon fibre and composites sit alongside gold, platinum and silver. From delicate diamond silhouettes to high-jewellery creations featuring enamel, micro-mosaic and micro-inlay, the focus is on innovation, movement, lightness and meticulous detail.
