Oscar Heyman, the esteemed New York City based high jewellery brand founded in 1912, announces the launch of “A Living Archive,” the new holiday book that celebrates the brand’s exalted heritage alongside its latest creations.
The curated tome, conceived and developed by I See Ideas, unveils 112 one-of-a-kind masterpieces, valued at over $22 million, all designed and crafted in the brand’s Madison Avenue atelier, as well as visual references from its historic archive that tell the story of the brand and its unique specialties.
The limited-edition book will be printed and shipped to partner retailers across the country just in time for the on the brand’s website. The digital version is displayed prominently on the brand’s website.

The beautiful new book features many new designs making their global debut and highlights how the maison’s pristinely preserved archive serves as the foundation for all of its current and future creativity. Elegant collage imagery offers a peek into the brand’s venerated history, revealing heritage design drawings, antique reference books, as well as vintage print advertisements from midcentury issues of JCK, Town & Country, and the New York Times. Since 1912, Oscar Heyman has been creating magnificent jewellery with the finest gemstones sourced from around the world at their atelier in NYC. The firm was founded by brothers Oscar, Nathan, and Harry after emigrating from Latvia and remains in family hands today, run by members of the second and third generation.
Beyond the big three traditional gemstones, rubies, emeralds and sapphires, Oscar Heyman specialises in incorporating rare and esoteric gemstones, including alexandrite, Paraiba, cat’s-eye chrysoberyl, opal, aquamarine, star ruby and star sapphire, into its jewellery, with each piece signed and numbered.
