GJEPC & DIAL Discuss 50-Acre Jewellery Park Cargo City Project in New Delhi

GJEPC held a meeting at its Delhi Regional Office on 26th March 2025 to discuss the Jewellery Park Cargo City Project near T3 Airport. The session was chaired by Mr. Antarpal Singh Sawhney, Regional Chairman – North, GJEPC, and brought together key stakeholders from both GJEPC and Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL).

Representing GJEPC at the meeting were Mr. Anil Sankhwal, Ms. Renu Sharma, Mr. Ashok Seth, Mr. K.K. Duggal, Mr. Sanjeev Bhatia, and Mr. Sanjay Madaan. Representing DIAL were Mr. Munish Davessar, General Manager of Air Logistics, and Ms. Kranti Mishra, General Manager of Strategic Logistics. The meeting centred on the proposed development of a Jewellery Park Cargo City, with DIAL outlining detailed plans for Cargo City 1 and 2, which will collectively span 50 acres.

The discussions included a thorough review of space requirements for GJEPC and its associated offices, underscoring the project’s potential to enhance the gem and jewellery industry’s logistics and export capabilities. As part of the agenda, participants also conducted a site visit to GJEPC’s Institute and Laboratory, gaining firsthand insight into the Council’s operational facilities. Both parties agreed to continue deliberations to refine the project’s framework and address logistical needs.
