GJEPC successfully concluded the Kozhikode chapter of its Retailers’ Connect roadshow for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026, attracting 60 leading jewellery retailers from the region.
A key outcome of the event was the robust registration response, with 40 on-the-spot Advance Visitor Registration (AVR) confirmations secured from members of the Jewellery Manufacturers Association (JMA), Kozhikode Division, which supported organising the event.
Addressing the gathering, Naheed Sunke, Assistant Director, GJEPC, highlighted the Council’s key initiatives and services for the gem and jewellery industry. Her presentation covered membership benefits, international exhibition opportunities, MSME support programmes, and e-commerce frameworks designed to strengthen business growth.
Deepa Rajendran, Kerala Coordinator, GJEPC, conducted a dedicated session in Malayalam, explaining the advantages of registering for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026. She also outlined the exclusive Privilege Visitor Registration (PVR) and AVR packages available to attendees.
Murali Ayyar, Category Head – Retail Trade, De Beers India, presented an overview of the INDRA Project, which aims to enhance consumer confidence in natural diamonds and support retailers in promoting natural diamond jewellery.
