Boucheron Acquires High Jewellery Workshop Near Place Vendôme

Boucheron has recently acquired a high jewellery workshop, renowned for its excellent expertise in traditional craftsmanship as part of its ongoing growth and development strategy. The workshop is located close to Place Vendôme in Paris, allowing Boucheron to reinforce the production capacity of its historical high jewellery workshop.

This workshop is composed of four companies: Blondeau, Belter, Chanson and FG Développement, which have worked together at the same address since 2017. They employ about sixty artisans (CAD designers, jewellers, lapidaries, setters and polishers) who are involved in each step of the process in the making of a high jewellery creation.

This group was founded by Cédric Gangemi, a young French entrepreneur and a qualified jeweller himself. Gangemi had worked for Chanson and for Blondeau before taking over these companies and developing them. These new teams joined Maison Boucheron on 31st October 2023, working alongside the historical workshop of 26 Place Vendôme to give life to the maison’s high jewellery collections.

Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, CEO of Maison Boucheron, said, “The acquisition of this high jewellery workshop writes a new chapter in the history of the maison. It will reinforce the production capacity of Boucheron’s historical workshop on Place Vendôme, enabling us to meet the increasing demand of our clients while maintaining the excellence of our craftsmanship.”
