The Gem & Jewellery Skill Council of India (GJSCI), in association with Cascade Star, a Mumbai-based jewellery equipment supplier, jointly organised a full-day workshop on the latest 3D CAD MatrixGold advanced software for jewellery designing.
Oriol Colleldemont, Product Director, GemVision USA, an expert in the field, had been flown down from the US to conduct this workshop. He highlighted the unique features of this software and its use in the jewellery industry.
The workshop was held at the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ) Mumbai Andheri campus on 20th September in the presence of Shishir Nevatia, Director, GJSCI; Rajeev Garg, Executive Director & CEO, GJSCI; Siddharth Sanghvi, CEO, Cascade Star; and Mr. Bharat Vaswani, Principal, IIGJ Mumbai. The workshop received an overwhelming response from 55+ participants that attended. GJSCI is planning to host the second edition of its India Jewellery Excellence Symposium (IJES), where technical experts from India and abroad will be flown down to share their unique insights.
