Dr. Sajjan Singh Yadav, IAS, Chairman of the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC), visited GJEPC’s Jhandewalan Flatted Factory Complex (FFC) Institute and Regional Office on 24th July. He was accompanied by Ms. Nazuk Kumar, IAS, Managing Director, DSIIDC, and other senior officials.
Dr. Yadav was welcomed and felicitated by Anil Sakhwal, Chairman, IIGJ Delhi and Co-Opted Member, Regional Committee – North, GJEPC and senior officials of the Council Secretariat.
During the visit, GJEPC representatives highlighted various issues concerning the Jhandewalan facility. Dr. Yadav heard the concerns and assured the Council that they would be addressed.
The officials also informed GJEPC that DSIIDC and the concerned Ministry are currently in discussions on the proposed redevelopment of the Jhandewalan Flatted Factory Complex. If the redevelopment project does not commence in the near future, DSIIDC may consider allocating an entire block within the complex to GJEPC to consolidate its regional office, training centre and laboratory under one roof.
