GJEPC’s Delhi Regional Office recently hosted a seminar in collaboration with global retail giant Amazon, focusing on kickstarting exports of gems and jewellery through the popular e-commerce platform.
Ashok Seth, the Regional Chairman – North, GJEPC, underlined the increasing importance of embracing e-commerce platforms for jewellery exports. The seminar drew a significant turnout, with nearly 97 participants representing various facets of the gems and jewellery trade.
Ketan Bagga, Program Lead, Export Partnerships at Amazon, led the session, accompanied by his colleague, Simran Kochhar, who serves as the Business Development Manager of Amazon’s Jewellery Export Division.
Out of the 97 participants, a sizeable group of 64 attended the seminar in person, while 33 joined virtually through Zoom. The audience actively engaged in a Q&A session, seeking clarifications and sharing their perspectives.
