GJEPC’s Delhi Regional Office organised a two-day Membership & Export Awareness Camp and IIJS Premiere 2026 Registration Drive on 16-17 June at Ravi Jewellers, Guru Bazar, Amritsar, in association with Swarnkar Sangh Punjab and Sarrafa Association Guru Bazar. The initiative received a strong response from the local jewellery community and focused on promoting exports, GJEPC membership and participation in IIJS Premiere 2026.
Sanjay Madaan and Pranabes Hazra, both Chief Managers, GJEPC, briefed participants on the Council’s services, export procedures, member benefits, Common Facility Centres (CFCs), training programmes, laboratory facilities, institutes and international business opportunities through IJEX, Dubai.
The registration drive witnessed robust participation, with several leading retailers confirming sizeable PVR packages and many others expressing their intent to complete registrations before the close of the first phase.
During an interactive session, participants raised concerns over gold availability for manufacturing and exports. GJEPC officials highlighted procurement avenues through the India International Bullion Exchange (IIBX) and encouraged members to participate in the Council’s webinar scheduled for 19 June.
Jewellers also expressed interest in GJEPC’s Export Promotion Tours, citing the Amritsar region’s strong overseas business and family connections as a key advantage for exploring international markets. The success of the programme prompted requests for a similar awareness camp in Batala, Punjab, with Swarnkar Sangh Punjab extending support for the initiative.
