GJEPC Deputy Director – Jaipur Mr. Nitin Khandelwal recently attended an interaction with Mr. Abhishek Singh, Jt. Secretary (Economic Diplomacy and Multilateral Trade Relations) on promoting trade of various products including items under the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme from India to the US market.
Also present at the meeting were Mr. Binaya Pradhan, Hon’ble Consul General of India in New York; Mr. Manish Kulhary, Consul Trade; and Mr. Vishal Harsh, Head of Chancery, Consulate General of India, New York.
The dialogue focused on strategies to promote all products, including gems and jewellery exports, to the Tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut / Pennsylvania and other states in their jurisdiction both amongst Indian-Americans and Americans. The Jt. Secretary Mr. Singh (ED & MTR) and Consulate pledged their full support to the initiative.
