GJEPC met officials at the Embassy of India in Bangkok during a courtesy visit to strengthen trade engagement between India and Thailand and expand promotional efforts for IIJS Bharat Premiere 2026.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Jagpreet Kaur, Head of the Economic & Commerce Wing, Mr. Navin Bhardwaj, Attaché (Economic & Commerce), and Mr. Tarun Mangal, Assistant Attaché (Economic & Commerce).
Discussions focused on the current India-Thailand gem and jewellery trade scenario, increasing Thai participation at the September Bangkok jewellery show, and promoting IIJS Bharat 2026 among Thailand’s jewellery industry.
Ms. Kaur assured the Embassy’s full support in promoting IIJS Bharat Premiere. The Embassy will facilitate outreach by sharing information on the show with Thailand’s jewellery trade through its database and requested GJEPC’s social media links to amplify IIJS Bharat promotions across its official communication channels.
