The GJEPC held a webinar titled ‘Machinery Discounts for the Gems and Jewellery Sector” on 13th August in collaboration with the state-run National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Head Office, Delhi.
On 29th January 2021, the Council signed an MoU with NSIC to inter-promote business activities and to empanel the members of GJEPC under NSIC’s Machine & Equipment Selling Scheme through which Council members can avail benefits of enlistment and buying of machinery at discounted rates.
Invited speaker Shri. Vikram Jayant, Chief Manager (BD-MS Selling), NSIC-HO Delhi briefed the 144 attendees about the various benefits, norms, documentation, procedures, compliances, and process of empanelment of manufacturers and availing machinery-buying discounts under the Machine & Equipment Selling Scheme.
The benefits of Empanelment and Purchasing of Machine & Equipment under Machine Selling Scheme are:
- Genuine Machine & Equipment purchase at discounted price (at present discount up to 20%)
- Buyer can purchase through various Govt. schemes available to MSMEs as per norms of the respective scheme
- Manufacturers can empanel their machinery to maximise their reach with prospective buyer MSMEs and add value to their machinery and company. Enjoy assured payment after satisfactory supply of machine and equipment to the buyer
- Assured payment and after sales services post satisfactory supply of machine and equipment to the buyer
