The GJEPC, Regional Office, Delhi, organised an Export Outreach Program jointly with the office of Additional DGFT, Ludhiana and ECGC with the support of The Amritsar Jewellers Association at Hotel Lawrance, Amritsar on 18th January 2024.
Mr Ashok Seth, Regional Chairman North, GJEPC welcomed the dignitaries from the prominent jewellery associations of Amritsar, including Mr Sandeep Verma, Assistant Manger, ECGC Limited, Mr Rakesh Kumar, Director, NGJCI, Mr Rajesh Mehra, Senior member of the Association, and other important office bearers of the Amritsar Sarafa Association. In his welcome address, he emphasised the importance of getting the membership of GJEPC and motivated them to begin jewellery exports, by hand-carry or through e-commerce business.
Mr Seth also introduced the audience to the upcoming IGJS 2024 being organized by the GJEPC at Bharat Mandapam on 23-24, January 2024. He urged all to register for the Summit and join the vast network of gems and jewellery merchants, important dignitaries, and stakeholders on a single platform.
Mr Sanjeev Bhatia, Assistant Director, GJEPC Northern Region during his address highlighted the features of the GJEPC membership, its domestic and international jewellery shows, BSMs, export performance awards, India Pavilion in overseas shows and much more.
Mr Sandeep Verma, Assistant Manger, ECGC Limited, suitably presented the features of the exporters’ friendly policy covers under the ECGC, which safeguards the interests of the exporters in the event of buyer goes insolvent. He explained the different policy covers of the ECGC vis-à-vis their importance and necessities.
Mr Rakesh Kumar, Director of NGJCI, was invited as a special guest at the program, and he strongly urged members and non-members to register for the IGJS 2024 and join the summit.
