The Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ) recently showcased the exquisite jewellery designs of its graduates for the first time in South India at IIJS Tritiya 2023 held in Bangalore from 17th to 20th March. The four-day exhibition was attended by both the Academics and Laboratories wings of IIGJ, who took the opportunity to meet with participants and visitors and educate them about the tremendous potential of trained jewellery professionals and cutting-edge lab testing of gems and jewellery.
The Head of the Institute in Mumbai, Bharat Vaswani, expressed his satisfaction with the overwhelmingly positive response from visitors to their stall, with several jewellery companies expressing interest in collaborating with IIGJ for internships and recruitment needs. Visitors were impressed by the quality of the jewellery on display and showed keen interest in the curriculums of various programmes and courses offered by IIGJ.
While students from southern states have been taking various programmes at IIGJ for years, the institute aims to expand its expertise in both Academics and Laboratories to the regional gem and jewellery industry.
The IIGJ stall at IIJS Tritiya 2023 featured two installations showcasing the exceptional work of its students, which was greatly appreciated by visitors.
