The Bharat Ratnam Mega Common Facility Centre (Mega CFC) at SEEPZ-SEZ, Mumbai, witnessed the inauguration of the much-anticipated Design Training Program by Mr. Guido Persico on 16th June. The initiative, launched by the GJEPC, aims to nurture next-gen jewellery design talent in India’s premier export hub.
Mr. Dnyaneshwar Patil, Development Commissioner, SEEPZ-SEZ, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, while Shri. Mayur Mankar, Joint Development Commissioner, SEEPZ-SEZ, attended as Guest of Honour.
The programme introduces the first batch of 25 aspiring designers who will undergo a specialised training journey under the mentorship of renowned Italian design expert Mr. Guido Persico. Known for his expertise as a master sketcher, jewellery designer, and product developer, Persico brings global insights to India’s design landscape.
Aimed at empowering young talent, the program is part of GJEPC’s broader efforts to build world-class design capabilities within SEEPZ, bolstering the zone’s status as a dynamic jewellery export hub.
